Truck by a Stream

12x16 oils on panel--I wanted to incorporate the vehicle into the landscape more than I had in the previous paintings. This was underpainted in monochromatic alkyd oil, so it would dry in a few hrs for overpainting. The overpainting was done in one session using thin paint and a limited palette
